Lunar New Year 2013: Year of the Serpent

The Lunar New Year is upon us. The New Moon in Aquarius on Feb.9, 2013 ushers in the Year of the Serpent.  Snake is honored by most cultures as a powerful symbol of healing and rebirth (because she sheds Her skin). She is connected to the Earth, to the natural world, and exemplifies wholeness.

Snakes power scares a lot of people.  Her power lies in the Feminine, in the intuitive, in flowing Yin energy, in the sensual and the psychic.  She was labeled evil and associated with satan and so on...you know the story.
