Lunar New Year 2014





Year of the Horse

Nobel Horse provided her great power and strength to us two leggeds so that we could prosper and make and thrive beyond our dreams. She used her power to help us feed our children, plow fields, and travel long distances to visit relatives.  She still serves humanity graciously.  Today we are learning about her healing capabilities as Horse serves the diabled as therapy horses.  Sacred Horse continues to teach us about True Power.  The Power that comes when we serve all our relatives. "As I carry you on my back, you carry the needs of the people on yours. In wisdom, you understand that power is not given lightly but awarded to those who are willing to carry responsibility in a balanced manner."  (Medicine Cards, jamie Sams & David Carson)  I recently watched a documentary titled: Running Wild.  It was awesome.

Winter Solstice Poem

The Sea of Renewal

What wants to birthed

Out of these tired aching bones?

The Solstice Sun rises overhead at noon

And I feel lighter as the shadows disappear

Seal skin has grown over the wounds

that decorate the walls of my heart cave

From deep within I hear the whales sing

"Be the light"

Never underestimate the healing power of the unconscious.  Look around you. There are pearls just waiting for you to awaken and reveal your best gifts.  What is asking to be birthed from within you?  You might want to write a poem about it.
