What do stories teach us about our relationship to ourselves, to others, to the world, to the sacred?
The story of who we are is a lifelong narrative that connects us with our family, our ancestors, our community and our culture.
Can we change our story to one of strength, resilience, and joy?
Through journaling and sharing your stories in a safe community, this educational program will teach you how to cultivate insights and understanding into the resourcefulness and strengths that lie within you and the power of storytelling.
"I would ask you to remember only this one thing. The stories people tell have a way of taking care of them. If stories come to you, care for them. And learn to give them away where they are needed. Sometimes a person needs a story more than food to stay alive. That is why we put these stories in each other's memory. This is how people care for themselves." Quote from Lewis Mehl-Madrona, MD, Phd
