We perform stories
We create stories
We rewrite stories
As the nights grow longer
moving toward the Winter Solstice
humans gather round the fire that light up the night
to tell their stories
to bring myth and meaning to life
to share their humaness
to share where we came up short
or maybe where we soared like an eagle
