The Dalai Llama often talks about tolerance and uses the analogy of a garden of flowers. Wouldn't it be boring if there was only one kind of flower, he ponders. Rather a rich diversity of colors, fragrances, and types brings beauty to life here on Earth.
We humans could learn a great deal from the flowers, bees and butterflies. Living together in the garden with tolerance and compassion for one another with our different beliefs is essential for creating a true community of wholeness.
Speak up for diversity and tolerance.
